🔋World’s first visualization of reaction product water of fuel cell realized
Contributing to higher performance of automotive fuel cells through real time high resolution analysis
In the NEDO project, Tokyo Institute of Technology succeeded for the first time in the world for the first time in the development of technology capable of visualizing the behavior of reaction product water in a fuel cell in operation in real time and high resolution.
As a result, it becomes possible to grasp the generated liquid water behavior of automotive fuel cells where reactions change drastically, and it is expected to accelerate the development of technologies to improve the characteristics of fuel cells aiming for higher performance and higher durability and design guidelines .
The relevant contents were announced by the university at the 232rd session of the Electrochemical Society of Japan on October 5th session held from 1st to 5th October.
