Tosoh Quartz (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will establish a local subsidiary in Korea.
It has been decided to start local production of quartz glass products.

For in-vehicle use due to EV and automatic driving
The market is expected to expand.
The company will make capital investments to meet growing demand in South Korea.
It will be expanded as a base for the company following Taiwan.
A local subsidiary will be established during this fiscal year, and production will start in fiscal 2020.
