Japan Euglena: Biojet Diesel Fuel Plant Completed – Microalgae as ingredient
Japan Euglena began construction of Japan’s first biojet and diesel fuel demonstration plant on June 1, 2017.
Completed on October 31, 2018, the demonstration plant will be fully operational from the spring of 2019.
Biojet and diesel fuel is mainly composed of microalgae Midorimushi (scientific name: Euglena) and waste edible oil.
In the summer of 2019, we will start supplying next-generation biodiesel fuel / supply.
