Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. announces that it has decided to adopt our company’s large marine diesel engine for coal carriers built by Imaji Shipbuilding Company Limited.
This engine is equipped with low sulfur fuel-compatible exhaust gas recirculation system (High-pressure Exhaust Gas Recirculation (hereinafter referred to as “high pressure EGR”) developed by MHI to comply with the third regulation of NOx.
