French ozone levels set to spike in the heat
As 67 departments are put on orange alert in the continuing European heatwave, the French government is concerned that weather conditions look likely to cause a spike in air pollution.
As a precaution, it has imposed speed restrictions on several major routes and limited the type of cars allowed on the roads in the cities of Paris, Lyon and Strasbourg.
