On September 19, Panasonic announced that it had built one of the largest anechoic chambers in Yokohama.

Communication performance can be measured in all directions for the entire vehicle.

5G: Large capacity communication

5G realizes high-capacity communication using multiple antennas such as MIMO and beamforming.

When 5G is mounted on a vehicle, it is affected by the reflection of radio waves from the vehicle body and electromagnetic noise from electronic devices.

For this reason, the performance of 5G antennas and radio units alone may not be fully demonstrated.

In the anechoic chamber constructed by Panasonic, it is said that “the communication performance of the entire vehicle can be evaluated efficiently”
