A Taiwanese electric scooter manufacturer called Gogoro Inc. raised US$ 300 million from a group of investors including Singapore’s Temasek Holdings, Engie SA, Sumitomo Corporation and Generation Investment Management (an investment management firm co-founded by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore).
