Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory — Structure Nearing Completion (Flyover Video)
This is stunning progress for a build which only started groundbreaking in early January.
The roofs started going up 25 days ago, and are now well on the way to completion.
Shanghai’s climate sees relatively high rainfall in June through August, but there seems little doubt that the roofs and external walls will be structurally completed before the end of May,
and the interior work can progress unimpeded. The Gigafactory represents the largest foreign investment in Shanghai’s history, according to Tencent news.
