台湾への米国ドローン売却：
台湾への米国産高性能ドローン売却計画が、米議会で主要なハードルを乗り越え、承認に向け最終段階にあることが、関係者の話で10月２日分かった。
ドローン「ＭＱ─９」：
売却対象となるのはゼネラル・アトミックス製のドローン
「ＭＱ─９」４機。
金額は６億ドル相当。
米国国務省：
週内にも議会へ正式に売却計画を通知する可能性がある。
議会では与野党とも幅広く売却に賛成しているという。

has notified Congress of the approved sale of two more advanced armaments.As tensions heat up between the U.S. and China over the trade war,
Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic,
national security law in Hong Kong, and
human rights abuses in Xinjiang,
President Donald Trump
is looking to take a tougher stance with Beijing.Reuters on Tuesday (Oct. 13) cited eight sources saying that
the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs
had been informally notified of the State Department’s approval of the sale of two advanced weapons systems to Taiwan, in addition to the three announced the previous day.
