GIC and Carlyle to Buy Akzo Nobel’s Specialty Chemicals Business
Dutch multinational paint manufacturer Akzo Nobel N.V. has agreed to sell its entire Specialty Chemicals business, including debt, to the Carlyle Group and Singapore’s GIC Private Limited for an enterprise value of €10.1 billion (US$ 12.53 billion).
