Cypress Creek Renewables Puts Temasek Money to Work.

California-based Cypress Creek Renewables – an integrated energy firm formed in 2014 that develops, builds, finances, and operates solar farms throughout the United States – is using the US$ 450 million credit facility

it received in July from a group of institutional investors led by Singapore’s Temasek Holdings to facilitate the construction of a US$ 115 million, 75-megawatt facility in South Carolina’s Orangeburg County.

RDIF and CDC International Capital To Expand Investments in SMEs.

Russia and France continue to build economic ties.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and CDC International Capital – the direct investment arm of France’s Caisse des Dépôts Group, signed an agreement at the 23rd session of the Russian-French Council for economic cooperation to deepen their investment partnership with the allocation of up to 25% of their €300 million joint fund towards small and medium-sized enterprises in both Russia and France.

Attractive projects will be allotted up to €20 million.

Temasek Participates in Series B in Orchard Therapeutics

London-based Orchard Therapeutics, a biotechnology company involved in gene therapies, raised US$ 110 million in a Series B round.

The investment round was led by Baillie Gifford and ORI Capital.

New investors in the company include Temasek Holdings and Cowen Healthcare Investments. Other investors in smaller allocations in the Series B round include Juda Capital, Pavilion Capital, RTW Investments, Agent Capital, 4BIO Capital and existing investors F-Prime Capital and UCL Technology Fund.
