OMERS PE and Berkshire to Sell Husky Injection Molding to Platinum Equity.
OMERS Private Equity and Boston-based Berkshire Partners LLC have entered into an agreement to sell Husky Injection Molding Services International Ltd. to funds managed and advised by global buyout firm Platinum Equity for a price of US$ 3.85 billion.
Husky’s management team will remain in place as significant investors through continued equity ownership.
The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018 upon regulatory approval.
