MES Establishes After-Sales Service Company for Container Handling Cranes in Malaysia
Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MES, President: Takao Tanaka) will establish an after-sales service (repair, upgrade, and sales of parts) Company in Klang, Malaysia in January 2018 for container handling cranes that MES manufactures and delivers. The container handling cranes that MES manufactures are delivered globally, mainly in Southeast Asia, having sold more than 350 units of Ship To Shore (STS) crane (Portainer®) and more than 1,200 units of Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) crane (Transtainer®).
