The feature-length anime “Aya and the Witch” will be released in theaters on April 29th.
At the same time, poster visuals, special news, and preview videos were released.
Ghibli, the first 3DCG:
Planned by Hayao Miyazaki and directed by Goro Miyazaki.
“Aya and the Witch” is based on “Diana Wynne Jones’ novel for children, known for Howl’s Moving Castle.”
Studio Ghibli’s first full 3DCG animation work.
It was broadcast on NHK General TV on December 30, 2020.
Selected as an official selection at the 2020 Cannes International Film Festival.
It will be released in theaters in North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia, etc.
