DSEI Japan: Defense equipment, Japan’s first trade fair: held in Makuhari
DSEI Japan:
“DSEI Japan” was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City from the 18th to the 20th.
Japan’s first comprehensive defense equipment trade show.
About fifty Japanese companies and about one hundred overseas companies will exhibit and support the Japanese and British governments.
The aim is to strengthen the international competitiveness of Japanese companies in the defense field, and to develop Asian markets for overseas companies.
“DSEI”:
DSEI is the world’s largest trade fair held once every two years in the UK.
In addition to land, sea and air equipment, it handles all areas related to security, such as terrorism and cyber attacks.
This will be the first time outside the UK.
Exhibits in each country:
UK’s Ministry of International Trade: Booths to promote arms exports
Japan Defense Equipment Agency: Ground Self Defense Force Type 10 tanks, etc. exhibited
Company booth:
Exhibited fighter aircraft, missile models, drone-related precision machines, etc.
There are interesting explanations from companies and officials of each military.

Welcome – DSEI Japan 2019 – Japan’s first fully integrated defence event
Clarion Defence & Security and Crisis Intelligence Japan
have collaborated to launch and operate Japan’s first tri-service defence exhibition & conference – “DSEI Japan”.
Taking place for the first time at Makuhari Messe from November 18-20, 2019.
The exhibition and associated conferences will run biennially thereafter, and in keeping with the themes of DSEI in London, DSEI Japan will cover all four domains of Land, Naval, Aviation and Security.
