-55 new cases of community-acquired infections in 8 provinces and cities-

On the 1st of the same month, 55 new community-acquired infections were confirmed in mainland China.
Number of new community-acquired persons:
40 people in Jiangsu
Hunan 7 people,
Beijing and Hubei, two each,
One each for Shandong, Henan, Hainan, and Yunnan.
Number of new asymptomatic people:
28 people in Henan
11 people in Hunan
2 people each in Jiangsu and Hubei
A total of 44 people, one in Beijing.
Number of patients to be treated:
As of 24:00 a day
The number of confirmed infections (including importability) during treatment is 1091
Of these, 24 are seriously ill.
476 asymptomatic patients are under medical observation.
Medium risk area:
Set by the Macau government.

Delta variant challenges China’s hard-won epidemic victory In July,
there were more than 320 domestically transmission cases reported across China,
posing serious challenges to the country’s hard-won victory in the epidemic battle.
The latest domestically transmitted cases
have spread to at least 18 provinces and dozens of cities,
resulting in at least four high-risk areas and 91 medium-risk areas as of press time on Sunday.
This new wave of the Delta variant strain outbreak first occurred in Nanjing, East China’s Jiangsu Province,
and spread from there to more locations, including the tourist hotspot of Zhangjiajie in Central China’s Hunan Province, which became another flash point.
Tourists returning from Zhangjiajie
carried the virus with them when they returned home, including to the Chinese capital.
