7月7日東京都内で発見された100頭以上の有毒火の蟻 – ジーイー・プレス – 同じ容器で火の蟻が発見された後の緊急調査で、東京都のコンテナに100頭以上の有毒な火の蟻が発見された木曜日に環境省が金曜日に発表した。殺虫剤で殺された火のアリの中にクイーン・アリはいなかった。同省の関係者は、今までコンテナの外に火の蟻が見つかっていないため、港の周辺に植民地化した南米原産の火災のアリの危険性はない、と語った。中国の広東省を出発して6月27日、香港を経由して東京港の大船ターミナルに到着した。その後、コンテナは土地によって東京の東、千葉県の君津市に輸送され、その内容物はそこで降ろされた。容器は大井ターミナルに戻されています。 – JIJI PRESS
Over 100 Venomous Fire Ants Found at Tokyo Port − Tokyo, July 7 (Jiji Press)–More than 100 venomous fire ants were found in a container at the Port of Tokyo in an emergency survey after a fire ant was discovered in the same container on Thursday, the Environment Ministry said Friday. No queen ant was among the fire ants, which were all exterminated with insecticides, according to the ministry. A ministry official said there is not an elevated risk of fire ants, native to South America, colonizing areas around the port, as no fire ant has been found outside the container so far. The container arrived at the Oi terminal in the Tokyo port via Hong Kong on June 27 after leaving China’s Guangdong Province. The container was then transported by land to the city of Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo, and its content was unloaded there.
