💡Mitsubishi Electric releases new air cleaning device of triboelectric charging system developed
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has developed a triboelectrification type air cleaning device that removes PM 2.5, atmospheric PM, pollen, dust, etc. by using static electricity due to triboelectric charging. Ventilation with clean air that meets the World Health Organization’s environmental standard (PM 2.5 concentration of 10 μg / m 3 or less) can be continued without maintenance for about 10 years. By installing this device in a ventilating air conditioning system, it contributes to providing a clean and comfortable space.
Development features
Using static electricity due to triboelectric charging, PM 2.5 and dust such as pollen and dust are collected
· Friction of plastic collecting plate and nonwoven fabric brush generates static electricity
· Plus (+) charged PM 2.5, pollen · dust etc. adhere to minus (-) charged collecting plate
· Ventilation with clean air that satisfies the World Health Organization’s environmental standard (PM 2.5 concentration average annual average 10 μg / m 3 or less) is realized
Reduced maintenance through automatic cleaning and recharging
· Automatic cleaning and recharging keep collecting performance without deterioration
· Filter clogging is unlikely to occur, saving maintenance by enabling use for about 10 years
