The ratio of total advertising costs to GDP in 2018 is 1.1%

● Total advertising costs in Japan amounted to 6.53 trillion yen (102.2% YOY), a positive growth for the seventh consecutive year

● Internet advertising costs: 1.76 trillion yen (116.5% YOY), double-digit growth for the fifth consecutive year

Advertisement cost of terrestrial TV: approaches 1.75 trillion yen

● Digital advertisement costs originating from the 4 media: 58 billion yen
