Marubeni Enters into a Contract with Honda to become a HondaJet Dealer

Marubeni Aerospace Corporation (hereinafter, “Marubeni Aerospace”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Marubeni
Corporation (hereinafter, “Marubeni”), has entered into a contract with Honda Aircraft Company (hereinafter,
“HACI”), a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (hereinafter, “Honda”), under which Marubeni Aerospace will
become the sole dealer of HondaJet (a light business jet developed by HACI) in Japan.
Beginning with the domestic sale of the HondaJet Elite (the newest model of HondaJet which is currently on the
market in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, China, India and the Middle
East), this contract stipulates that Marubeni Aerospace, under the name HondaJet Japan, will be a total service
dealer handling everything from sales to aircraft operations.
