🎇Mitsubishi Electric Develops Platform that Enables Smart Appliances to Cooperate
TOKYO, January 29, 2018 – Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that it has developed an autonomous platform that enables networked smart appliances to use their sensors and functionalities to cooperate in new home services without the need for cloud computing or internet connection.
By integrating the aggregation of diverse functionalities not possible with individual appliances, the platform is expected to facilitate a wide variety of cooperative smart appliances and related services for increasing comfortable and convenient homes.
Commercialization of the platform is targeted at 2020.
