Mitsubishi Heavy Industries completed the CO2 recovery equipment at Mizushima Plant (Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture) of Nippon Liquid Coal Co., Ltd. (President: Mr. Kenshi Yoshihide, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo). It constitutes the newly established liquefied carbon dioxide production facility at this plant, and the CO2 recovery capacity is 283 tons / day. This liquid coal equipment recovers CO2 generated at the Mizushima Plant (Kurashiki City) of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation and manufactures liquefied carbon dioxide gas.
We licensed CO2 recovery technology to Mitsubishi Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd., which undertakes EPC (design, procurement and construction) of the entire liquid coal plant, and was responsible for the basic design of the CO2 recovery equipment and supplied the main equipment.
