Goldman sells shares in the UK life insurance business to three companies including
Blackstone


Blackstone Group and US Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, Singapore Government Investment Corporation (GIC), by buying the remaining shares of the Goldman Sachs group’s English Life Insurance company Rossy Life Agreed.

According to a stakeholder familiar with this transaction, Rossy is estimated at about 2 billion pounds (about 285 billion yen).

Blackstone and GIC are major shareholders of Rothy since 2013, and Massachusetts · mutual also acquired shares. Goldman’s holding ratio at the time was 36%. Bloomberg
