AGC旭硝子（旭硝子株式会社、本社：東京、社長：島村琢哉）は、旭硝子顕示玻璃（恵州）有限公司（広東省恵州市仲愷開発区）に第11世代TFT液晶用ガラス基板の製造窯を建設します。本件投資にあたっては、AGCグループ内から最新鋭の設備を移設することにより、グループの総生産能力を維持し、また設備投資額を大幅に圧縮します。なお、本日現地にて同製造窯の鍬入れ式を行いました。量産開始は、2018年4Q～2019年1Qの予定です。 ｜ AGC

AGC Asahi Glass “AGC” has announced its plans to build a furnace for 11th generation TFT-LCD glass substrates at its subsidiary, AGC Display Glass (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. in Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guangdong Province, China. AGC has now decided to relocate a cutting-edge glass substrate production facility from within the AGC Group.
