Toyota Motor Corp. <7203>ーToyota, Too, Not to Use Takata Air Bag Inflators
Tokyo, Nov. 6 –Toyota Motor Corp. <7203> said Friday it will stop using in its vehicles Takata Corp.’s <7312> air bags that use ammonium nitrate inflators.The decision was clarified by Toyota President Akio Toyoda at a press conference in Tokyo. Toyoda also pointed to the possibility of using Takata air bags that do not use ammonium nitrate as a propellant if they are confirmed safe.(2015/11/06-23:03)
