Mazda Motor Corp. <7261>Mazda, Others May Stop Using Takata’s Air Bag Inflators
Tokyo, Nov. 5 –Mazda Motor Corp. <7261>, Mitsubishi Motors Corp. <7211> and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. <7270> are considering refraining from using air bag inflators made by Takata Corp. <7312> in vehicles they will newly develop, officials the companies said Thursday.The three major Japanese automakers are expected to follow Honda Motor Co.’s <7267> decision to review its business with Takata, which has been hit by a series of fatal accidents involving its air bag inflators.(2015/11/05-23:33)
