According to specifications, Lilium Jet has superior flight efficiency compared to S4.

Features of Lilium Jet:

The unique propulsion system is the Ducted Electric Vectored Thrust (DEVT).

30 ducted fans:

30 duct fans (a structure in which propellers are placed inside the duct) are placed in the flap.

Thrust deflection electric duct (DEVT):

1. During takeoff, the aircraft lowers its flaps and climbs vertically. After that, raise the flaps and fly horizontally (Figure 2)

2. Normal propellers generate airflow not only in the direction of propulsion but also in the orthogonal direction.

3. Ducted fans increase flight efficiency. Furthermore, the noise level is also low.

Jointly developed by DENSO and Honeywell

The key to this ducted fan is the drive motor jointly developed by Denso and Honeywell.

1. One motor for each duct fan.

2. A total of 30 pieces are installed in one Lilium Jet (Figure 3)

3. Compatible with air cooling, simplifying the cooling mechanism.
