Eastern European Populations Rejecting COVID-19 Vaccine as Demand Wanes in Places like Romania
Apparently, Eastern European countries are rethinking
the vaccine-centric strategy to eradicate COVID-19 that’s gripped most of the world’s governments.
Vaccination rates appear to fall across this part of Europe, as Romania proves to be a case in point.
Andrei Baciu, Romanian deputy health minister, reports
the nation has suspended vaccine deliveries except for doses from Johnson & Johnson.
While this Eastern European nation
has received 16 million doses of various western-produced vaccine products, under 55% are in fact used.
