大英博物馆将展出重新发现的北斋作品
大英博物館：
浮世絵師葛飾北斎による作品が、最近再発見された。
約100点のドローイング展を開催します。
博物館でプレビュー：
火曜日に、昨年取得した103枚の図面のメディアプレビューを行いました。
- 作品をオンラインで見ることができます。
- はがきサイズの図面
- 木版画のスケッチです。
作品の内容：
動物から植物、その他の自然現象から風景まで、幅広いものがあります。
1820年代から1840年代にかけて、出版されたことのない挿絵本のために制作されました。
Curator Alfred Haft：
says Hokusai has “a blend of humor and a sense of adventure.”
He also says “these drawings are not part of standard encyclopedias, so this is Hokusai imagining the world.”
He adds that although they are not in color, “the direct skill of the artist’s hand is amazing in itself to see.”
The exhibition titled “Hokusai:
The Great Picture Book of Everything” will run from Thursday to January 30, 2022.
