皮尤研究中心：调查结果
8月13日，公布了一项关于美国人在中国的看法的调查结果。
反对中国
受访者表示“不利”的比例：从60％（上一年的47％）迅速恶化。
受访者表示“有利”的比例：从上一年的38％下降12个百分点至26％。
共和党支持者：
百分之七十回答“不利”，“有利”回答率为20％。
民主党支持者：
“不利”为59％，“不利”为30％。
共和党支持者更加意识到他们不那么有利。
共和党支持者，“不利”的百分比从上一年的51％大幅上升至70％。
民主党支持者也将“不利”的比例从47％提高到59％。
与中国的经济关系:(见表）
“坏”占多数的53％，“好”占41％。
中国的军事增强：
80％的人说“不好”。
中国的经济增长：
“好”是50％，“坏”是41％，“好”是9分。
