Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) has been selected as the preferred bidder for a new offshore electricity transmission link in Europe. The new offshore electricity asset, Burbo Bank Extension Offshore Wind Farm, MC’s fifth such project in the UK, is situated approximately 25 km off the country’s northwestern coast. Connected to the Bodelwyddan substation in Denbighshire, North Wales, the Burbo Bank Extension Offshore Windfarm consists of one subsea cable, one land cable, one offshore substation and one onshore substation. The asset has a transmission capacity of up to 258 MW and is valued at GBP 180 million (approximately JPY 26 billion). Mitsubishi Corporation

三菱商事 、英国海底送電資産の運営事業権取得について
三菱商事株式会社（以下、当社）は、新たに英国で5件目となる海底送電資産の運営事業権を取得しましたので、お知らせ致します。本海底送電資産は、英国北西部沖合約25kmの洋上に位置するバーボバンクエクステンション洋上風力発電所（発電容量25.8万キロワット）及び北ウェールズ・デンビーシャー州ボデルウィダンに建設される変電所を結ぶ、海底・陸上送電線及び付随する洋上・陸上変電設備で構成されます。資産規模は約262億円（180.6百万ポンド）で、本年末頃より事業パートナーと共に20年間に亘り送電を担う予定です。 三菱商事
